NEW DELHI: The ILT20 clash between Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Dubai Capitals on Thursday produced a hilarious moment when Knight Riders's Jason Holder completely lost his line while bowling.

The West Indian pacer left everyone in splits as his wayward delivery went wildly astray - missing the wicketkeeper, first, second, and third slips - only to end up at the fourth slip, much to the amusement of players and fans alike.

Holder, who is known for his accurate bowling and knack for picking up wickets at regular intervals, found himself the subject of laughter. As he was about to release the ball, it appeared to slip from his hand at the point of delivery.

While occasional mishaps are part of a bowler's craft, this one stood out for its sheer absurdity. The delivery not only wrong-footed the batter but also sailed past the first three slip fielding positions, leaving everyone bemused.

ADKR record convincing win

Talking about the match, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders produced a complete all-round performance as Dubai Capitals were knocked out after suffering a 50-run defeat in the Eliminator.

Powered by Michael Pepper's 72 and Phil Salt's 43, the Knight Riders posted 158/7 in their 20 overs. Jason Holder provided a valuable late cameo, smashing an unbeaten 22 off just 11 balls to help his team put up a competitive total on the board.

The Knight Riders' bowlers then fired in unison to bundle out the Dubai Capitals for 108 in 16.2 overs. Holder also shone with the ball, picking up three wickets alongside Sunil Narine and Liam Livingstone, who chipped in with three scalps apiece.
