Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant shared a light-hearted moment during a recent public event, engaging in playful banter that has since gone viral on social media. A clip from their interaction with the host on January 19 has been widely circulated, coming just a day after the conclusion of India’s ODI series against New Zealand.

During the event, the host asked the two cricketers whether they had ever considered trying their hand at acting in the future. Rishabh Pant was the first to respond, admitting that acting had never crossed his mind and that his sole focus remained on cricket. He added, jokingly, that he was unsure about Jadeja’s plans.

“First of all, I haven’t thought about it yet. Let me play cricket for now. I don’t know about Jaddu bhai,” Pant said, drawing laughter from the audience.

Jadeja was quick to fire back with a witty remark, humorously suggesting that Pant was hinting at the end of his cricketing career. “So basically, he’s indirectly saying that my time is up,” Jadeja quipped, adding to the amusement.

The exchange comes at a time when Jadeja is facing scrutiny following a disappointing ODI series against New Zealand. The all-rounder managed just 43 runs across three matches on batting-friendly pitches and failed to pick up a single wicket. His bowling figures across the series read 0/56, 0/44, and 0/41.
