Gujarat Titans (GT) sealed the 3rd place with 18 points in 14 matches. They won 9 games, lost 5, and had 0 no results, finishing with an NRR of 0.254. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians (MI) is in 4th place with 16 points in 14 matches, with a 1.142 NRR. In this season, they won 8, lost 6, and had 0 no results.
The inaugural IPL season was in 2008, where there were 8 teams in the tournament. In the IPL 2011 season the teams were expanded to 10 and since the 2022 season there are the same teams in IPL history. IPL match points table and the race for playoff in each season in group stage matches have always been an exciting part in IPL.
Each team played 14 matches in the group stage in IPL all seasons, except the 2012 and 2013 season.
