He is the number 1 player in the list of taking the most 5 Wicket hauls in IPL. James Faulkner (GL,PBKS,PWI,RR) claimed a five-wicket haul 2 times in the tournament. He played 60 matches and took 59 wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (PWI,RCB,SRH) impressed with the ball with 2 five-wicket hauls. He has made his mark in 189 matches with 198 wickets. Most 5-Wicket Hauls in IPL (2008-2025) 

Jasprit Bumrah topped the list by taking 2 five wicket haul in 145 matches. He took his first five wicket haul against KKR in IPL 2022, delivering incredible figures of 5/10. His second five wicket haul against RCB in IPL 2024.

James Faulkner also recorded 2 five wicket haul in 60 matches. He achieved his five-wicket haul against the same opponent, SRH, in IPL 203 and finished the season with a total of 59 wickets.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jaydev Unadkat  both earned the title for 2 five wicket haul. In IPL 2017, Bhuvneshwar kumar five wicket haul led the SRH won by 5 wickets against  Kings XI Punjab and another five wicket haul from bhuvneshwar kumar was in 2023.

Jaydev Unadkat picked his five wicket haul in IPL 2013 against Delhi Daredevils when he played for RCB and and he registered another five-wicket haul in IPL 2017 against SRH when he was part of the Pune Supergiants.
