Each year multiple teams participate in the IPL auction to trade players for their franchise. The IPL auction team budget for each team is fixed with 120 cr, by which they need to trade all players for a particular season. IPL auction budget for each team 2025 for top teams

When we discuss the top IPL teams, three names always come to mind, which are CSK, MI and RCB along with other teams like KKR, Delhi Capitals, Punjab and the new teams like LSG, GT etc. Chennai Super King has utilized almost all their budget with 119.95 cr to trade the perfect combination for IPL 2025.

With this purse they bought 7 overseas players out of 8 quota, with a total of 25 players. They bought Afghanistan bowler Noor Ahmad at the price of 10 cr and Ravi Ashwin at 9.75 cr respectively. CSK used the right to match card to buy back Rachin Ravindra at 4 cr and Mukesh Choudhary, Devon Conway, Sam Curran, and Shaik Rasheed, all of whom had previously played for them.

Like CSK, Mumbai Indians also utilized their entire budget to trade players for IPL 2025. In the quota of 25 players MI bought 23 players with 8 overseas players in their list. RCB bought 8 overseas players and 22 players in total with 119.25 cr of their budget.

IPL auction team budget for other teams

Kolkata Knight Riders 107.95 cr to buy 8 overseas players and 21 players in total. While Delhi Capitals spent 116.55 cr to buy 7 overseas players and 23 players in their squad. Gujarat titans utilized 119.85 cr budget in total to buy 25 players in their squad, 7 overseas players among them. 

Lucknow Super Giants bought 6 overseas players and 24 players in their squad in 119.90 cr budget. Punjab Kings spent 119.65 cr to buy 8 overseas players and 25 players in their squad for IPL 2025. Rajasthan Royals spent 119.70 cr to buy 6 overseas players and 20 players in total for their IPL 2025 squad. SRH brought 7 overseas players and 20 players in their squad, with 119.80 cr budget.
