CSK's ROAR 2026 fan event: The full schedule and what to expect

The evening is split into three distinct parts and each one is worth being there for.

At 4:30 PM the CSK squad takes the field for a practice session giving fans their first proper look at the IPL 2026 squad including Sanju Samson and the new faces who have joined the franchise ahead of the season.

At 5:30 PM comes the moment the old guard returns. The OG Super Kings led by Suresh Raina and featuring Matthew Hayden, M Vijay, S Badrinath and Dwayne Bravo among others will reunite at Chepauk for a series of high-energy match-ups against the current CSK squad.

At 7:00 PM AR Rahman takes the stage for a 90-minute live musical performance. The Oscar-winning music director turns Chepauk into something else entirely for the final stretch of the evening. Tamil actor Arjun Das known for his work in Kaithi and Master will also be part of the entertainment lineup.

CSK's ROAR 2026 fan event: How to get tickets and important booking information

Tickets for ROAR 2026 went live on March 15 and are available through four official platforms only. The CSK App, the official CSK website at chennaisuperkings.com, the District App and District.in are the only authorised channels.

CSK have been clear that fans purchasing tickets from any other platform do so entirely at their own risk. Anyone who has not yet secured tickets should check availability on the official platforms before heading to the ground.

Why this event matters for CSK heading into IPL 2026

ROAR 2026 is more than a fan event. It is CSK's way of announcing themselves ahead of a season that carries more weight than most. CSK finished last in IPL 2025 and have rebuilt the squad significantly bringing in Sanju Samson, Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma among others.

The reunion of the OG Super Kings alongside the current squad at Chepauk on the eve of the season is a deliberate statement about what this franchise stands for and what it is asking its fanbase to believe in heading into IPL 2026. The yellow will be loud tonight. It always is at Chepauk.
