Indian Cricket Star Veda Krisnamurthy has officially announced retirement from International cricket, finishing a memorable chapter that inspired many cricket fans across the country. She announced her decision through an emotional Instagram post on July 25, 2025.
The 32-year-old player played for India in 124 International matches, including 48 ODIs and 76 T20Is. She last appeared in an ODI against England 7 years ago in 2018.

Sher posted her retirement decision on Instagram and said, “From Kadur’s quiet lanes to wearing the India jersey with pride. This game gave me everything: joy, pain, purpose and family. I played with fire in my heart and pride in every step.”
