In this series, India played 5 Tests and won the 2nd game by seven wickets. India's 1971 tour of the Caribbean is considered one of the most memorable turning points in Indian cricket. Under the leadership of Ajit Wadekar, India faced a strong West Indies side. At that time, Garry Sobers and Rohan Kanhai were playing for the West Indies. In the  2006 Caribbean tour, India ended a 35-year wait to win their first Test series in the West Indies since 1971 under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid. Anil Kumble and S. Sreesanth both delivered spectacular performances with the ball. Kumble took six wickets, and Sreesanth earned three wickets in the 2nd innings. After a 49 runs victory in the 4th match, Team India won the series 1-0.

India vs West Indies 2nd Test, November 2013: 

Team India faced West Indies in the 2nd Test at the Wankhede Stadium under the captaincy of MS Dhoni in November 2013. India won the match by an innings of 126 runs. It was Sachin Tendulkar's last Test match in his international Test career. He scored 74 runs in this match and completed his great cricketing career to an end. During this farewell speech after the game, Sachin Tendulkar said he would miss the "Sachin Sachin" chants the most, and it made the entire cricket world emotional. It was his 200th match. It was such an emotional moment for many cricket lovers in India.
