What made the occasion even more special was receiving his ODI cap from none other than Rohit Sharma. Interestingly, Reddy had also made his Test debut in Perth almost a year ago, when he received his cap from Virat Kohli. He went on to feature in all five Tests of the series, including a standout century at the MCG, solidifying his reputation as one of India’s brightest young talents. The day also marked a special moment for Australia, as debutants Matt Renshaw and Mitch Owen were handed their ODI caps. While Nitish's debut was a culmination of hard work and steady progression, Renshaw and Owen embarked on their own new journeys, full of promise and anticipation on the international stage.
