- 2018: The CSK IPL team came back after a two-year, to repeat its victory. It finished in 2nd place and defeated SRH in the final. It defeated SRH 4 times in 2018.
- 2021: It had a remarkable comeback in the 2021 IPL. Its beginning was outstanding in India, but it became a blunder when the tournament was moved to the UAE due to COVID-19. Their opening pair of Ruturaj Gaikwad (635 runs) and Faf du Plessis (633 runs) lit the season on fire, leading the team to second place in the table with 18 points. In the final held in Dubai, CSK made a big score of 192/3 against KKR, in which Faf's innings of 86 runs was important, and later, due to the excellent bowling of Shardul Thakur and Jadeja, they defeated KKR and won by 27 runs and won their 4th IPL title.
- 2023: This year, the team displayed tremendous consistency. They finished in 2nd place, won Qualifier 1, and won their 5th title by defeating GT in a thrilling final.

- 2012 FINAL– This match is considered one of the biggest upsets in IPL history. The Chennai Super Kings team was playing at its home ground, M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, and had a golden opportunity to make a hat-trick by winning its third consecutive title. Batting first, CSK put up a mountain-like score of 190/3 on the board, in which Suresh Raina played a brilliant innings of 73 runs in 38 balls. Everyone thought that CSK would win easily, but KKR's Manvinder Bisla silenced the entire stadium. Bisla came out of the blue and smashed 89 runs in just 48 balls, and was supported by the legendary Jacques Kallis (69 runs). In a last-over thriller, KKR chased down the target with two balls to spare and lifted their first IPL title. For CSK fans, such a defeat in their own fort (Chepauk) was a huge shock, marking the beginning of a new era for KKR.
- 2021 FINAL– The 86-run innings of Faf du Plessis helped CSK score 192. After a strong start from KKR, Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja took the wickets, and the Chennai Super Kings team won by 27 runs to lift their fourth title.
CSK vs MI:
- 2010 FINAL– This was the first time these two big rivals clashed in the final. CSK batted first and made 168/5. Suresh Raina played a brilliant innings of 57 runs in 35 balls. MI was in a good position while chasing, but Dhoni set a unique field for Pollard. Pollard got caught there, and MI lost the match. CSK won by 22 runs and lifted their first IPL title.

- 2013 LEAGUE MATCH— Match 5 of IPL 2013 was a thriller, with Kieron Pollard scoring 57 to take MI to 148/6. Chasing the target, MS Dhoni (51 runs) put up a strong fight, but MI's bowlers restricted CSK to 139/9. MI won the match by 9 runs, with Pollard being named Man of the Match.
- 2018 LEAGUE MATCH– MI made 165 runs. The batting of CSK collapsed, and they were at 118/8. Everyone thought CSK would lose. Dwayne Bravo surprised everyone with a brilliant 68 off 30 balls. In the final over, an injured Kedar Jadhav hit a six on one leg to seal the match. CSK won the match by 1 wicket.
- 2019 FINAL– This was the most intense final in IPL history. Mumbai scored only 149 runs. Shane Watson, despite bleeding on one leg, played a brilliant innings of 80 runs. The match went down to the last ball, where CSK needed 2 runs, but Lasith Malinga had Shardul Thakur LBW with a yorker, and CSK lost the final by just 1 run.
- 2021 LEAGUE MATCH– This match was played in Delhi, and there was a rain of runs. CSK has scored a total of 218/4, and MI scored 219/6. Kieron Pollard single-handedly turned the match around. He scored 87 runs in just 34 balls. MI won the match on the last ball. This was MI's biggest successful chase in IPL history.
CSK vs RCB:
- 2011 FINAL– This match was like a festival for Chennai fans because the Chennai Super Kings team chose to bat, and Murali Vijay batted as if he had come from a different planet. He scored 95 runs in just 52 balls. Michael Hussey also supported him, and CSK scored 205. For RCB, all eyes were on Chris Gayle, but Ravichandran Ashwin dashed RCB's hopes by dismissing him for zero in the very first over. CSK won by 58 runs to lift back-to-back IPL trophies and showed that they are impossible to defeat in Chennai.
- 2012 LEAGUE MATCH– RCB held a total of 205 runs, and CSK needed 43 runs from the last two overs. Virat Kohli came on to bowl the 19th over, and Albie Morkel conceded 28 runs in that one over. This miraculous over helped CSK win the match on the last ball, a fate that remains a nightmare for Kohli to this day.
- 2013 LEAGUE MATCH– In the 2013 match at Chepauk, RCB had made 165, and CSK needed 2 runs off the last ball. Ravindra Jadeja was caught out, but an RP Singh no-ball gave CSK the win.
- 2018 LEAGUE MATCH– RCB batted first and made 205/8. Chasing, CSK were reeling at 74/4, but Ambati Rayudu (82) and MS Dhoni (70) shared a 101-run partnership to turn the match around. Dhoni hit the iconic six in the last over to give CSK a 5-wicket win.
- 2019 LEAGUE MATCH– RCB had to defend 161 runs. Dhoni alone scored 84, but Shardul Thakur was run out on the last ball, and RCB won by just one run.
- 2021 LEAGUE MATCH– Ravindra Jadeja set a record by scoring 37 runs in a single over bowled by Harshal Patel. The match was played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and CSK won comfortably.
- 2024 LEAGUE MATCH– The final league match of the season was a do-or-die affair for both teams. RCB needed to win by an 18-run margin to reach the playoffs. RCB won by 27 runs, eliminating CSK from the tournament.
CSK vs RR:
The 2023 match, in which MS Dhoni hit Sandeep Sharma for two back-to-back sixes in the last over. CSK lost the match by three runs, but the mix of silence and excitement in the stadium was unforgettable.
