NEW DELHI: Kuldeep Yadav continued his purple patch in the Asia Cup with another match-winning performance in India's Super 4 clash against Bangladesh in Dubai on Wednesday. The left-arm wrist spinner spun a web around the Bangladesh batters, finishing with impressive figures of 3/18 from 4 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav, who tops the tournament charts with 12 wickets, was named Impact Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.

Performance Analyst Hari Prasad Mohan presented the award to Kuldeep, praising the spinner for his remarkable consistency in T20 cricket, something few players manage to achieve.

"Impact Player award goes to someone who showcased serious skills with the ball. In the modern day T20 cricket, not many players display spin, drift and dip with such remarkable consistency. So the award goes to none other than Kuldeep Yadav," Hari Prasad said.

After receiving the award, Kuldeep emphasised the need to maintain the same intensity in the final.

"Overall it was a good game, I thought with the ball, obviously you said it earlier, Hardik and Bumrah were excellent and as a spinner our job is to control the middle overs and pick the middle order wickets. We did really well and yeah, just. I think overall the intensity was good. Just carry the same intensity in the next game," Kuldeep said in a dressing room BTS video shared by the BCCI.

Talking about the match, Abhishek Sharma's scintillating 75 was beautifully complemented by Kuldeep and Varun Chakravarthy as India comfortably hammered Bangladesh by 41 runs to enter the Asia Cup final on Wednesday.

Despite a mediocre batting show that limited India to 168 for six in their second Super 4 match, Bangladesh's batting never had the wherewithal to chase down a gettable total and were bowled out for 127 in 19.3 overs.
