However, in the last league game of IPL 2025, Pant found his form and smashed 118* in just 61 balls against RCB.
Because of the worst performance, they finished in 7th position on the points table in this year’s IPL. They have won only 6 matches out of 14 games.

According to reports, Lucknow Super Giants is ready to make big changes ahead of IPL 2026 by appointing Bharat Arun as their new bowling coach for the 19th season of the Indian Premier League 2026.
Bharat Arun has been part of the Kolkata Knight Riders since IPL 2022. He has got impressive coaching track record as a bowling coach in both International cricket and for KKR in the Indian Premier League. He played an important role in developing India's fast bowling unit during his tenure as India's bowling coach from 2014 to 2016 and later from 2017 until the T20 World Cup in 2021. He helped some great fast bowlers of Team India to enhance their skills and become top-class bowlers in International cricket.
