India has been placed in Group A for the 2026 T20 World Cup, alongside the USA, Namibia, Pakistan and the Netherlands. The Men in Blue will take on these teams in the same sequence during the league stage. Adidas, the official kit sponsor, revealed India’s new jersey in collaboration with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In a dramatic on-field spectacle, a life-size version of the jersey was unfurled across the stadium turf during the innings break, drawing thunderous cheers from fans and transforming the ODI into a festive curtain-raiser ahead of India’s World Cup campaign.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has officially unveiled India’s jersey for the 2026 T20 World Cup. As speculated, the reveal took place after the first innings of the 2nd ODI between India and South Africa in Raipur. The presence of BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia and vice-president Rajiv Shukla at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium further fuelled anticipation before the launch. The jersey was unveiled by former India captain Rohit Sharma who is also the brand ambassador of the tournament, and member of the Indian T20 side Tilak Varma.
