Indian cricket has had a remarkable year since the last BCCI awards. Five ICC trophies across formats and age groups in twelve months is something that has not happened before and the BCCI is marking it properly. The annual awards ceremony titled NAMAN is the biggest it has ever been this year.
Players from the senior Indian men's and women's sides, and two different age-group teams, will all be in the same room on the same night, being recognised for what they did over the last twelve months. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia recently confirmed everything on Tuesday, March 10, and what he described is an evening that Indian cricket has genuinely earned.
The time the BCCI is bringing together on March 15
The ceremony is on March 15 at a five-star hotel in New Delhi near the airport. Players and staff are travelling in from different parts of the country and the venue has been chosen to make that as easy as possible. It is also just a good setting for the night. New Delhi, a room full of people who went out and won ICC trophies for India over the last twelve months, and an evening that the BCCI has put together to make sure none of it goes unrecognised.
The senior men's team will be there as T20 World Cup 2026 champions and as Champions Trophy 2025 winners, which means they are being recognised for two separate ICC titles on the same night. Not many teams in cricket history can say that, and the men's side will possibly have the loudest reception in the room.
The senior women's team will be honoured for their ICC success, which has been a long time coming and deserves its own moment on a night like this. The Under-19 boys side will be there for winning their ICC trophy in the 2024-25 cycle, and the Under-19 girls team for winning theirs in 2025. That is what March 15 in New Delhi will actually be celebrating.
As per IANS, Saikia confirmed who is coming and added that Champions Trophy winners are also on the list.
"The Awards ceremony will happen on March 15 in New Delhi," Saikia said. "We are going to invite all the ICC tournament winners, including the recent T20 World Cup champions, as well as coaches. Apart from the senior men's team, the senior women's team, U19 boys side, and U19 girls team, who won the trophy in 2025, will also be invited."
"We will also invite the 2025 Champions Trophy-winning team members, too. So, five ICC trophies won by various Indian teams during the course of last one year, all the members of those teams will be honoured on the awards night and it will be a great evening," Saikia added..

INR 131 crore for the T20 World Cup winners
The BCCI has confirmed INR 131 crore as the cash reward for the Men's T20 World Cup winning squad and support staff. That is six crore more than what the 2024 winning team received and the largest amount the BCCI has ever given to a winning Indian team.
Saikia clarified that everyone involved, including players, support staff, and selectors, gets a share of it.
"The total amount of Rs 131 crore is an unprecedented amount given to any victorious Indian team by the board. Apart from the winning team, all support staff and selectors will get this money too," Saikia said.
The exact breakdown of how the money is shared will reportedly be announced soon.
