Tilak impresses everyone
On September 6, during Team India's practice session, young batter Tilak Varma left everyone amazed with his dedication and hard work. Alongside Abhishek Sharma, Tilak took part in bowling practice. What stood out, however, was his extraordinary commitment: after completing his batting drills, he immediately joined the fielding and catching exercises.

Tilak didn't stop there - he also bowled during the session and then returned to the nets for more batting practice. Even when the rest of the team wrapped up and headed to the first floor for refreshments and rest, Tilak remained in the nets batting. He was the last player to leave the nets, a display of dedication that has been widely praised as an inspiration for the team.
Tilak made his T20 International debut on August 3, 2023, against the West Indies. He played his last T20I match on February 2, 2025, against England. So far, he has appeared in 25 T20Is, scoring 749 runs at an average of 49.93, including 2 centuries and 3 half-centuries. His highest T20I score is an unbeaten 120.
