Virat Kohli registers first IPL duck after 46 innings
With the dismissal, Virat Kohli recorded his first duck in the IPL after 46 innings. The last time Kohli was dismissed for a duck in the tournament came against Rajasthan Royals in Bengaluru during IPL 2023.
Meanwhile, this was also Kohli’s first duck while chasing in the IPL since 2017. Back then, he was dismissed against Kolkata Knight Riders during the infamous game where RCB were bowled out for just 49 runs, which still remains the lowest total in IPL history.
Only two bowlers have now managed to bowl Virat Kohli for a duck in IPL history.

LSG post fighting total as RCB suffer disastrous start in chase
Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants posted a competitive total on the board with valuable contributions from Aiden Markram and Rishabh Pant.
RCB’s chase got off to a disastrous start as first Jacob Bethell was caught at third man off Mohammed Shami before Prince Yadav removed Kohli in the very next over.
Despite the early setbacks, Bengaluru still have plenty of firepower left in their batting lineup to bounce back into the contest.
