NEW DELHI: The Indian women's cricket team has been asked to bat first by Sri Lanka in the 4th T20I of the five-match series in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. India has already sealed the series with victories in the first three games.

Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu, playing her 150th T20I, chose to field first, keeping the dew factor in mind.

"Chasing is a bit easier because of the dew. We have to execute out best cricket and try and score at least 140. That will be a good score," she said after winning the toss.

Both the teams made two changes each as India brought in Harleen Deol in place of Jemimah Rodrigues who is unwell, and Arundhati Reddy replaced Kranti Gaud.

Sri Lanka roped in Kawya Kavindi and Rashmika Sewwandi in place of Malki Madara and Inoka Ranaweera.

"Jemimah Rodrigues was unavailable for selection in the 4th T20I in Thiruvananthapuram due to weakness arising from mild fever. The BCCI Medical Team is closely motoring her progress and recovery," the Indian team said in a release.
