NEW DELHI: Ishan Kishan could not have asked for a better return to international cricket, making a mockery of the New Zealand bowlers from the word go as India cruised to the 209-run target in just 15.2 overs in the second T20I to go 2-0 up in the five-match series.

Kishan, back in the side after a gap of more than two years, went hammer and tongs from ball one, plundering 11 fours and four sizzling sixes in a 32-ball 76-run carnage in Raipur.

Ahead of the all-important T20 World Cup, things appear to be falling into place for India as captain Suryakumar Yadav broke a prolonged lean patch, smashing an unbeaten 82 off 37 balls to register his first fifty after 23 innings.

Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube (36 not out off 18) closed out the game at a canter, but by then history had already been rewritten as India piled up a plethora of records during the chase. New Zealand pacer Zak Foulkes bore the maximum brunt of the hosts' batting mayhem. Take a look at all the records that were set during India's historic run chase.
