NEW DELHI: India’s luck at the toss took another hit in Raipur as the streak moved to 20 in a row. The sequence started at 2023 World Cup final and has now grown into one of the most surprising runs seen in ODIs.
The chance of losing twenty tosses in a row is 1 in 1,048,576, which shows how unusual this sequence has become.
The next longest streak belongs to the Netherlands, who endured eleven consecutive toss defeats between 2011 and 2013. India have now moved well past that number. Their last successful toss was against New Zealand during the 2023 World Cup.

India named an unchanged eleven for this important contest. South Africa need a win to keep the series alive while India will look to extend their strong form despite their ongoing toss trouble.
