NEW DELHI: Three more Indians, including a woman, have been added to the FIFA Referees list for 2026, the national federation announced on Wednesday.
Rachana Kamani from Gujarat has been included in the FIFA list of women referees, while Ashwin Kumar (Puducherry) and Aditya Purkayastha (Delhi) have been named among the men.
Kumar and Purkayastha have successfully completed their AFC Referee Academy course in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, while Rachana is currently attending the same programme, the All India Football Federation stated.
Additionally, two Indians – Muralitharan Pandurangan (Puducherry) and Peter Christopher (Maharashtra) – have been inducted as FIFA Assistant Referees.
In total, 19 match officials from India are part of the FIFA international list of match officials for 2026.
