NEW DELHI: Famous American YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is James Stephen Donaldson, has once again sparked chatter among Indian cricket fans after expressing his desire to collaborate with Virat Kohli.

Ahead of the India vs New Zealand ODI series, MrBeast spoke to NDTV and openly addressed Kohli during the interview, highlighting India as one of his biggest audience bases.

“I love you guys. I want to come back there sometime soon,” MrBeast said. “Hey Virat Kohli, if you are watching this, I am trying to film with you. Most people do not realise that India is one of our largest audiences, so I am very grateful to all of you.”

His comments quickly gained traction on social media, with fans reacting to the possibility of a crossover between one of the world’s biggest YouTubers and Indian cricket’s biggest icon.

This is not the first time MrBeast has publicly reached out to Kohli for a collaboration. Back in 2025, he had posted on X, writing, “Virat Kohli hey! Anyway I could get you in a video?”

The post went viral and drew massive attention from both cricket followers and YouTube viewers.

While a collaboration has yet to materialise, MrBeast’s latest remarks have once again fuelled discussions online.

On the cricketing front, Virat Kohli is likely to feature in the first ODI against New Zealand on January 11. The Indian star has been in sublime touch in the white-ball format, having won the Player of the Series award in the recent ODI series against South Africa and followed it up with back-to-back impressive innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
