Still searching for their first win of the tournament, Canada made one change to their playing XI, with Shivam Sharma replacing the injured Kaleem Sana.

New Zealand are being led by Daryl Mitchell in the absence of regular skipper Mitchell Santner, who is sidelined due to illness.

“He had a dodgy burger last night, so hopefully he’s okay in 24 hours,” Mitchell said with a smile at the toss.

Santner’s absence sees Cole McConchie drafted into the side. The Kiwis have also brought in tall pacer Kyle Jamieson in place of Lockie Ferguson.
