Canada went in unchanged from the side that suffered a 57-run defeat to South Africa in Ahmedabad earlier this week.
The UAE, meanwhile, made two changes to the XI that lost to New Zealand by 10 wickets in their tournament opener in Chennai. Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Jawadullah were drafted into the side.
