Tiffany Stratton is one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling right now, and she has earned a lot of success in a very short amount of time. She started working as a wrestler in 2021, and she got a big break as soon as she entered the wrestling world, as she directly got the opportunity to work in WWE.
Stratton started working in the NXT in 2021, and she had been pretty successful in the developmental territory of WWE as she had been a one time NXT Women's Champion. She made her main roster debut as a surprise entrant in the women's Royal Rumble match of 2024 at the Royal Rumble event, where she had been one of the final 4 wrestlers.

Tiffany Stratton reveals how she transitioned to professional wrestling
Tiffany Stratton had been quite successful soon after making her main roster debut as she won the Money in the Bank ladder match in the same year of her main roster debut, and she cashed it in on the first SmackDown of 2025 on Nia Jax to win the WWE Women's Championship. She had an amazing 300+ day title reign before recently dropping it to Jade Cargill.
She will definitely maintain her status even after dropping the Championship. But it is no secret that she started her professional career as a gymnast first, and later she transitioned to professional wrestling. But how did she become a wrestler when she was a gymnast at first? Recently, Tiffany Stratton revealed the secret while speaking with Sidewalks Entertainment;
Tiffany Stratton was a gymnast at first
“So, yes, I was a gymnast basically my entire life. I grew up doing gymnastics. I wanted to go to the Olympics. That was like my ultimate goal. However, injuries and stuff like that kind of had me fall short of that. So eventually I had to quit gymnastics. It was very sad. Then I took up CrossFit and then I did bodybuilding for a little bit.
"I kind of was- I wanted to do something a little bit more competitive and I saw wrestling on Instagram and my mom and I too were scrolling through the channels and SmackDown was on. My mom had mentioned like, ‘that’s totally something I can see you doing,’ I was like, ‘Yeah, whatever, mom, it’s fine.’”

“Then eventually I was like, ‘You know what, I’m gonna give it a go.’ So I looked up my nearest pro wrestling school, and it was Mr. Kennedy’s. I signed up for classes. Then my mom actually got in contact with Greg Gagne, who is an old wrestler for WWE. He agreed to train me and help me get a tryout. Then I tried out and they signed me a week later and I went through the whole system.
"I was in NXT for a little bit. I was there for about two years. Then I got called up around the Royal Rumble two years ago. Then eventually I won Money In The Bank and I cashed in and I became the WWE Women’s Champion and here we are.” said Tiffany Stratton, who is presently active on WWE SmackDown.
