Jey Uso says Roman Reigns will always be his Tribal Chief
After he dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL to Cody Rhodes, he somehow dropped the Tribal Chief persona, as his long running faction ended, and his part time status also affected the character. His real life cousin and former stablemate, Jey Us,o recently claimed that Roman Reigns is still his Tribal Chief. Speaking on the “RAW Recap” podcast, he said the following;
Roman Reigns adopted the Tribal Chief persona back in 2020
“He sees me now, you know what I’m saying, Uce, we’re equals now. He did teach me the game, man. I was a student to him, I sat under the learning tree all of COVID. I was there. Like front row, man. I had my ticket, just learning the game, man, learning from Big Uce, learning from The Wiseman.”

He has not been working full time in WWE since 2022
“Me and Roman got a love-hate relationship, like y’all can tell, man, but respect between us is there now. So, he’s still big uce, he’s still my Tribal Chief, man. There’ll never be another Tribal Chief to Jey Uso but Roman Reigns.” said the former World Heavyweight Champion regarding his thoughts of the 'Original Tribal Chief' Reigns who is maintaining a part time status right now.
Roman Reigns is working as a part timer after WrestleMania 38, but things did not affect much as long as he was carrying the Championship. After dropping the title, things have started to go a little stale for him. It has also been confirmed that he will never return as a full timer in WWE. No matter what he does, he will always be remembered as the Tribal Chief of WWE.
