R-Truth returned his Ron Killings character for the first time in WWE after he returned to the promotion earlier this year. He became famous by playing his R-Truth character throughout his WWE career. The fans love him as a lovable babyface, something that he has always been in WWE.

He had a short heel run during the early PG Era, which is not much remembered by the fans, as everybody loves to see him making people happy with his funny gestures and jokes. After he was released from WWE earlier this year, the fans went on protests, and WWE had no other options but to bring him back.

R-Truth discusses the nature of his Ron Killings character

After his return, he started playing the character of Ron Killings, a character he had never played in WWE. But the character did not last long as WWE decided to bring his famous character back soon after his return. Truth recently spoke with CBS Sports, where he explained why Ron Killings' character is different. Here is what he had to say;

R-Truth has been active in WWE since 2008

"It went where it was supposed to," Truth said. "Ron Killings created R-Truth. Those hundreds of millions of fans who spoke and up-roared. They wanted R-Truth back. Ron Killings was the rebellious one who spoke up for R-Truth."

"Ron Killings has been around for years, but people had never come together in lockstep like that," Truth said. "They did that for R-Truth. You feel me? I wanted Ron Killings to go where he was supposed to go. He made a statement; he had eyes on him. When John Cena came back, R-Truth came back. Ron Killings was the cavalry."

"I think [Ron Killings] was a selfish-type deal, more of a selfish move," Truth said. "I had more than 100 million views that wanted R-Truth. If numbers are real, that was the power of numbers." Said the former two times WWE United States Champion.

R-Truth is presently under contract with WWE, but he does not get to make regular appearances in the promotion, mostly because of the stacked roster. He is last appearance was a confrontation with Brock Lesnar, where he tried to stand for John Cena and ultimately got beaten up by the Beast Incarnate. Truth will always be remembered as one of the best comedians in professional wrestling history.
