The sensational return of Nikki Bella as a full time competitor is not going very well for her so far. She started things quite well after she had been one of the final four athletes of the Evolution Battle Royal before finally getting eliminated by Nia Jax. She also defeated Chelsea Green on the following week of RAW.

After these two impressive performances, her fans were expecting to see her take on the main event force that she had always achieved as a solo star. She had been one of the biggest names in WWE during the PG Era, as she won the WWE Divas Championship twice and is also recognized as the longest-reigning Divas champion in WWE history.

But things started going downhill for her from her second one on one match. She got the opportunity to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship at the Clash in Paris event that took place in August. Which actually looked like a big title win for Nikki Bella, ultimately turned out to be a disaster.

Not only did she lose to Becky Lynch, but she also had to receive a lot of criticism from the fans for her poor performance. She committed a number of botches that became a talking point for the fans. Her next opponent was the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, in an episode of RAW. Once again, she had to face disappointment as she was defeated in this match.

She remained out of action for a while before making her in ring return this week on RAW, where she had a match with one of the newest members of the main roster of WWE, Roxanne Perez. Once again, Nikki Bella lost, and it turned out to be the third defeat in a row for the former two times WWE Divas Champion.

Fans have already started to ask questions about whether Nikki has been brought back just to be a jobber. Reports also suggest that she will only be used to put over younger talents, and it also looks like the promotion does not want to push her as a main event star anymore. So the fans cannot expect to see her winning any Championship either.
