India’s seasoned opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, was featured in TIME Magazine’s “TIME100 Next” list, a global accolade celebrating influential personalities across various fields. Yashasvi Jaiswal shared the news on his official social handle, tweeting, "What a Time to witness! I am honoured to be recognised in the 2025 #TIME100NEXT list alongside leaders shaping the future across industries. It reminds me how far I’ve come and how much further I want to go."

Not only this, earlier in August, he made it to the list of ‘Best 40 Young Players in the World’. In a very short time, Jaiswal has done what many seasoned cricketers dream of. He is the first Indian to score more than 1,000 Test runs in a calendar year before his 23rd birthday. This achievement underscores both his remarkable consistency as a successful cricketer and his promising future.
He has played only one ODI, scoring 15 runs; his List A average of 52.62 really makes people anticipate him as the next great opener in ODI, after Rohit Sharma. In IPL, he has scored 2,166 runs in 67 IPL matches for Rajasthan Royals, with a strike rate of 152+, 2 centuries and 15 fifties. So, he is quite proving to be an asset for Rajasthan Royals.
Yashasvi Jaiswal will be next seen in Test match series against West Indies on 2nd October, in Ahmedabad.
