In‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the second ODI at Seddon Park in Hamilton, New Zealand's Will Young made an incredible catch out of his series of performances to take the wicket of England captain Harry Brook. The incident occurred during the 24th over of England's batting and changed the hosts' direction of the game completely, thus amazing not only the supporters but also the players with Young's superb physical ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌fitness.

Will Young’s brilliance changes the course of the match

In‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the second ball of the 24th over, Mitchell Santner aimed a short and wide delivery outside off stump. Brook who was playing confidently and had 34 runs, tried to take a power shot with the square drive, however, Young at backward point had a different plan. He went left and full length, diving to his left and with one hand he caught the ball which was so amazing that it made people around the stadium emit their surprise and excitement.

The England captain could do nothing but smile in disbelief as he made his way back, while the Seddon Park crowd cheered loudly for what was certainly one of the best catches of the year.

After a good recovery from early wickets, England got themselves into trouble again and then collapsed. The visitors were bowled out for 175 runs in 36 overs only, with Blair Tickner getting a four-wicket haul and leading the charge. Santner and Matt Henry supported Tickner’s well-planned and tight bowling which made it impossible for England to regain their scoring rate. Jamie Overton provided momentarily resistance with a quick 42 off 28 balls, but it was not enough to take England to a challenging ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌total.
