With a menacing look in his eyes, it just felt as if there was going to be a Virat Kohli special incoming after 7 months. But fans couldn't have been more wrong. Just after facing 8 deliveries, Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion for a duck with Mitchell Starc's outside the off-stump length ball finding its way into the hands of Cooper Conolly at point off the thick outside edge of Virat Kohli's bat.

In doing so, Mitchell Starc became the second bowler to dismiss Virat Kohli for a duck on two instances after James Anderson across all Internationals. It was also his first duck on Australian soil in 30 ODIs that he has played there, such has been his dominance Down Under.

With Virat Kohli only playing one format at the International level, his appearances for Team India will be few and far between. Hence, fans will have huge expectations every time he is at the crease.

And while his return to International cricket after 7 months ended in disappointment with a duck to his name, fans will hope that the King fights back in the next 2 ODIs.
