The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who recently impressed with his destructive performances in the Rising Stars Asia Cup in Qatar, has been named as a key member of Bihar’s squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025/26. The announcement came on November 22, confirming his return to domestic T20 action.

Bihar have been placed in Elite Group B, facing some tough competition, and Vaibhav is expected to be one of the players to watch. Ranji Trophy skipper Sakibul Gani will continue to lead the team in the shortest format, while prolific batter Ayush Loharuka, who has scored multiple centuries this season, will also feature in the squad.
