NEW DELHI: India will tour Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series and an equal number of T20Is in August–September 2026, after the series was postponed earlier due to calendar congestion and logistical challenges faced by both countries.

The Indian squad is now set to arrive on August 28, with the three ODIs scheduled for September 1, 3 and 6. The tour will conclude with the T20I series, to be played on September 9, 12 and 13, before the visitors head back home.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) unveiled Bangladesh's home international calendar for the 2026 season on Friday, outlining a packed schedule of bilateral series against Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia and the West Indies across all three formats.

"The confirmed itinerary ensures a season full of international cricket in Bangladesh, providing supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home while details of match venues will be announced in due course," BCB said in a statement.

Pakistan will be the first visitors, arriving in Bangladesh on March 9 for a three-match ODI series scheduled between March 12 and 16. New Zealand will then tour Bangladesh in April-May for a white-ball assignment, beginning with a three-ODI series starting April 17, followed by three T20Is from April 27 to May 2.

Later in the season, Pakistan will return for a two-Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship. The red-ball fixtures are slated for May 8-12 and May 16-20.

Australia's white-ball tour of Bangladesh will get underway on June 5 with a three-match ODI series, followed by a three-game T20I leg scheduled between June 15 and 20.

After hosting India, Bangladesh will welcome the West Indies for a two-Test series that forms part of the ICC World Test Championship. A three-day warm-up match will be held from October 22 to 24, ahead of the Tests, with the first scheduled from October 28 to November 1 and the second from November 5 to 9.
