The ultra-edge showed a spike, but Smriti Mandhana reckons she did not knick that! 😕
Was it OUT? 🤔 OR NOT OUT? 👍🏻

The unfortunate incident unfolded in the 10th over, when Kim Garth bowled one down the leg side. Smriti attempted a glance but missed, and the umpire immediately signalled a wide. However, Australian skipper Alyssa Healy showed sharp cricketing acumen, opting to review the decision after a brief discussion with her teammates.

Smriti appeared untroubled as the review played out - until UltraEdge came up. A faint spike appeared just as the ball passed the bat - the barest of spikes, the barest of margins - and the third umpire asked the on-field umpire to overturn the decision.
A stunned Smriti shook her head in disbelief as she trudged back to the dressing room, while the Australians erupted in celebration.
However, Smriti's 24-run knock made her only the second Indian batter after Mithali Raj - and the 10th overall - to complete 1,000 runs against Australia in Women's ODIs.
