Smriti‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Mandhana of India has once again proved why she is the number one power hitter in the world by a dramatic performance on the ongoing home World Cup, which resulted in a career-best point rating for her.

The left-handed diva of the Indian side made a regal 109 against New Zealand and later played an unbeaten knock of 34 against Bangladesh. This took her rating to 828 points, which is almost 100 points more than the second-ranked player, Ashleigh Gardner of Australia (731), who rose six places after her one-off century against ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌England.

Smriti Mandhana's‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ score keeps on a bright streak of good form, which actually started a long time before the World Cup. As a result of her brilliant performances in the ODI series against Australia, she got the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for September 2025.

Laura Wolvaardt, the captain of South Africa, also improved her position by two places to become one of the top three players after scoring 90 and 31 consecutively. Amy Jones of England climbed into the top 10 for the first time with a four-spot rise to ninth (656), and Annabel Sutherland made the biggest jump among the top 40 by moving 16 places up to 16th (613).

Pratika Rawal from India, who has been sidelined for the rest of the World Cup due to an injury, has also advanced to the 27th position with a rating of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌564.

England’s Sophie Ecclestone is still the main ODI bowler holding the top spot with 747 points, but she is now being challenged by Alana King of Australia, who was extraordinary in her 7 for 17 against South Africa and hence, moved up five places to be the second (698) ranked player.

Gardner was only able to hold the third position as she fell one spot (689), while Nashra Sandhu from Pakistan and Nonkululeko Mlaba from South Africa were tied for the tenth spot (610). Besides that, Marizanne Kapp and Annabel Sutherland, who are both fast bowlers, made it to the fourth and the seventh positions respectively, whereas Linsey Smith of England had an enormous rise of 24 places to 36th (444).

Even after she has gone down in the bowling rankings, Ash Gardner is still the number one all-rounder (503). Kapp was able to overtake West Indies’ Hayley Matthews and move to the second spot (422) while Sutherland jumped to fourth position. King was able to make it into the top 10 just because of her alongside-the-ball heroics as she climbed three places to be the 10th player with 262 ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌points.
