NEW DELHI: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will not be part of India A's squad for the three-match one-day series against South Africa A, scheduled in Rajkot on November 13, 16, and 19.
Speculation had arisen that, since the veteran cricketers currently play only one format, Rohit and Kohli might feature in India A matches to get more game time.
Rohit was named Player of the Series against Australia after scoring 73 and an unbeaten 121 in the second and third ODIs, while Kohli also roared back to form with an unbeaten 74 in the third game following successive ducks.
