NEW DELHI: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who made impressive returns to ODIs in the recently concluded series against Australia, are unlikely to feature in the white-ball series against the touring South Africa A side, Cricbuzz reported.
India A will lock horns with South Africa A in a three-match one-day series, with all games scheduled to be played in Rajkot on November 13, 16, and 19.
The squad for the series is expected to be announced in a couple of days, but the selectors are not keen to include both legends for these games.

Rohit was named Player of the Series against Australia after scoring 73 and an unbeaten 121 in the second and third ODIs, while Kohli also roared back to form with an unbeaten 74 in the third game following successive ducks.

An India A team is presently engaged in a two-match red-ball series against South Africa A at the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. Led by Rishabh Pant, the hosts clinched victory in the first four-day encounter that ended on November 2. The second and final match is set to get underway on Thursday, November 6.
The Indian selectors are expected to meet soon to announce the squad for the two-Test series against Temba Bavuma's side, and may also pick the India A squad at the same meeting.
