NEW DELHI: Stooping to a new low has become a habit for Pakistan, whether it is their government, cricket administrators, or players. Now, Pakistani YouTuber Arsalan Naseer has gone a notch beyond his counterparts and sparked controversy after making aggressive and threatening remarks directed at the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Arsalan made the provocative comments in the aftermath of the ICC's warning to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over "serious implications" after Pakistan announced its intention to boycott its T20 World Cup match against India, scheduled to be played in Colombo on February 15.
In a video circulating widely on social media, Naseer appeared to mock the ICC's functioning, questioning its authority and decision-making while using inflammatory language. He accused officials of "overreacting" and claimed the ICC operates comfortably from Dubai without understanding realities on the ground.

"Stay in your limits. You have a small office of 25 people. Go there and sit and watch YouTube, Netflix, chill," Naseer said, before adding that the ICC has no standing to respond directly to a government.
The YouTuber went on to make alarming statements invoking violence and destruction, suggesting that the ICC's office would not survive if relocated to India. He also made provocative references to the Pakistan government, using abusive language and issuing veiled threats.
"Why are you overreacting? Do you know where the Pakistan government is? Do you know who the Pakistan government is? They are your fathers. Such a rocket will be launched at such a place that you won't even remember the two-room office."
"Relocate the office in India once. Then we will tell you how the entire office will disappear," he said.
Naseer also dragged ICC chairman Jay Shah into his remarks, making personal references that have drawn criticism for crossing the line between opinion and intimidation.
"You won't even know. There will only be a Jay Shah there. There will be Jangia lying on the seat. Everything will disappear. Thank God you are sitting in Dubai. You are safe there."
