NEW DELHI: Anvay Dravid, son of legendary India batter Rahul Dravid, has been selected in one of the four squads for the Men’s U19 One-Day Challenger Trophy, which begins in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
A promising top-order batter and wicketkeeper, Anvay has been included in Team C, led by Aaron George. The tournament, organised annually, serves as a major platform for young Indian cricketers to display their talent and push for national selection at the junior level.
Anvay, the younger brother of Samit Dravid — who has featured in the Maharaja T20 KSCA Trophy — is known for his aggressive stroke play and clean hitting ability.
According to a BCCI release, “The Junior Selection Committee has picked the teams for the upcoming IDFC First Bank Men’s U19 One-Day Challenger Trophy to be played in Hyderabad from 5th–11th November, 2025.”
Team C, featuring Anvay, will begin their campaign against Team B, captained by Vedant Trivedi, on Friday.
