NEW DELHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking to shift the dates of the three-match ODI series against Australia scheduled for March, hoping to avoid a clash with the Pakistan Super League.
A source told PTI that the PCB has initiated discussions with Cricket Australia (CA) to explore possible alternative dates for the series.
The ODI series is the second leg of Australia's twin tours to Pakistan. The visitors will first play three T20 Internationals from January 30 to February 5 as part of their preparation for the T20 World Cup, before returning for the three-match ODI series scheduled from March 13 to 19.
The source said the PCB wants to reschedule the ODIs because it is most likely to organise the PSL between March and May next year.
This year the PCB was forced to reschedule the PSL because of the ICC Champions Trophy it hosted in February and March.
The PSL this year will feature two new teams.
