NEW DELHI: Pakistan will host their first-ever T20 tri-series in November, featuring Afghanistan and Sri Lanka in the 13-day tournament.

"We look forward to hosting Sri Lanka and Afghanistan for Pakistan's maiden T20 tri-series," PCB chief operating officer Sumair Ahmed Syed said in a statement on Sunday.

"This event will not only offer excellent preparation for next year's ICC Men's T20 World Cup, but also present fans with exciting cricket across venues."

The T20I tri-series will kick off on November 17, with Pakistan facing Afghanistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This will mark Afghanistan's first-ever T20I in Pakistan, having previously played five ODIs in the country, the most recent against Australia during the ICC Champions Trophy in February.

On November 19, Sri Lanka will take on Afghanistan at Rawalpindi, while the remaining five T20Is, including the final on November 29, will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Prior to the tri-series, Pakistan will host South Africa for a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27, followed by three T20Is and three ODIs scheduled from October 12 to November 8.
