Looks like the Pakistan women's cricket team is far from controversies, as apart from the dramatic India vs Pakistan clash, as everyone anticipated. Pakistani batter Sidra Amin, who scored a valiant knock of 81 runs, has been reprimanded for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
The right-hand batter was found guilty of breaching Article 2.2 of the ICC Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which is related to “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International match.” The incident occurred during the 40th over of Pakistan’s chase, when Sidra forcefully hit her bat onto the pitch after being dismissed.
Closing in on 12-0! 👏

Sidra Amin’s valiant knock against India
Besides receiving a formal reprimand, Sidra has received one demerit point, not a previous offence in a 24-month period. According to ICC rules, Level 1 offences result in a penalty of an official reprimand (the minimum) to a 50 % match fee penalty (the maximum), not one or two demerit points.
The charges were preferred by match officials Lauren Agenbag, Nimali Perera (on-field umpires), Kerrin Klaaste (third umpire) and Kim Cotton (fourth on-field umpire).

Sidra accepted the charge and accepted Shandré Fritz’s (of the Emirates ICC International Panel’s) proposed sanction so it did not need to be heard formally.
Even with the incident, she was Pakistan's best player for her team, with a solid 81 runs off of 106 balls in an 88 run loss.
