India posted 86/4 in six overs, with Robin Uthappa scoring 28 off 11 balls, including two fours and three sixes. Pakistan began strongly at 41/1 in the third over before rain interrupted the game. Dinesh Karthik led India to another narrow triumph over their arch-rivals.
No handshake this time too
Live broadcasting was cut immediately after the rain-affected match ended, cameras missed any post-match interaction. According to various media reports, both teams remained in their designated areas and no handshake took place.
Despite the controversy, India’s batting stood out, with Uthappa and others delivering crucial contributions.

The handshake drama has been a recurring issue since the Asia Cup 2025 and the Women’s World Cup. India and Pakistan players avoided post-match handshakes in all these contests.
