In the middle of a stressful match against South Africa, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj found a moment to lighten the mood. The funny incident happened late on Day 3 of the second Test match in Guwahati, giving fans a rare reason to smile.
While fielding, Siraj decided to have a little fun with the Spidercam, the camera that zips around on wires above the field. He casually hung his cap right over the camera lens! The camera operator played along, lowering the device down towards Siraj as if asking him to take it back. The crowd loved it and started cheering. Siraj, playing it cool, ignored the nudges at first and waited for the over to finish before finally retrieving his cap.

This light-hearted moment was a much-needed break because the match situation was actually quite grim for India. Earlier in the day, the Indian batting lineup collapsed, bowled out for just 201 runs. South African bowler Marco Jansen was the wrecker-in-chief, taking 6 wickets.
Instead of asking India to bat again immediately, South Africa decided to bat for a second time to pile on more runs. By the end of the day, South Africa had reached 26 for no loss, extending their total lead to a massive 314 runs. With two days left to play, India faces a huge challenge to save the match, but for a brief moment, Siraj’s prank made everyone forget the scoreboard.
