After a blockbuster trade window, the Rajasthan Royals are heading into the IPL 2026 mini-auction with a radically different-looking squad. The franchise made headlines by trading their long-serving captain, Sanju Samson, to Chennai Super Kings, and in return, secured the services of superstar all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran. With a new-look core, the Royals have their eyes set on building a title-contending team.

In a major shake-up, the Royals have parted ways with nine players. This includes trading away Sanju Samson (to CSK) and Nitish Rana (to DC). They also released their entire frontline spin attack from last season, signalling a clear shift in strategy.
