NEW DELHI: Five-time champions Mumbai Indians had little work to do at the IPL 2026 mini auction, having already secured a strong and settled core. After finishing third last season, MI showed encouraging signs of resurgence and will now look to push further against stronger competition.

Led by Suryakumar Yadav, Mumbai Indians appear a formidable side on paper with strength in all departments. Quinton de Kock was their only notable buy, adding experience behind the stumps, while the franchise also invested in uncapped players as they aim to chase a record sixth IPL title.
