India’s Asia Cup campaign has been driven by their bowlers and top-order batsmen, with Kuldeep Yadav leading the wicket-takers and Abhishek Sharma reinforcing his No.1 T20I ranking, while the rest of the squad has slotted in seamlessly. Bangladesh, on the other hand, leaned on fifties from Saif Hassan and Towhid Hridoy to chase down Sri Lanka after their bowlers laid the foundation.

- Abhishek Sharma has been exceptional in powerplay, scoring 132 runs from just 61 balls at a SR of 216.29.

- Shivam Dube has bowled his full quota of four overs just thrice in his career across 39 T20Is. Two of those instances have come under the coaching of Gautam Gambhir.

- Mustafizur Rahman is one short of 150 wickets in the format

The surface used against Pakistan had undergone heavy rolling before the toss and offered much better conditions. In recent practice sessions at the ICC Academy, India have also noticed increased dew, and with evening temperatures continuing to dip in Dubai, more of it can be expected during the game. The pitch itself is likely to be another slow, low track.

India are expected to go in with an unchanged XI, with assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate making it clear that the team prefers not to tinker with the combination until their place in the final is secured.

Bangladesh enter the contest on the back of a win over Sri Lanka in their opening Super Four match. Saif Hassan and Towhid Hridoy anchored the chase, which went down to the penultimate ball, but Bangladesh never really looked in trouble while pursuing the 169-run target.

However, Bangladesh's batting unit collectively doesn't have the power game to dominate Indian bowlers but where they can create a bit of problem is by restricting India in the 150-160 range which will be chaseable for them.

In the Indian team, one opener Abhishek Sharma is in the form of his life, scoring runs at a strike rate of nearly 210, while his partner in crime Shubman Gill has propped up his to nearly 158 rate after the last Pakistan game. In comparison, Bangladesh's two best T20 batters -- skipper Litton Das (129 plus) and Towhid Hridoy (SR 124 plus) have mediocre numbers to show for their efforts.

Bangladesh's best chance is to make India bat first and expect that Mustafizur Rahman, at the death, and the two spinners -- leg-break bowler Rishad Hossain and off-spinner Mahedi Hasan -- choke the run-flow in the middle overs to make a game out of it.
