The trio of young men had been to a friendly cricket match and were on their way home when they lost their lives in an airstrike that also caused the deaths of a number of innocent people. The ICC vehemently condemns this act of violence which has taken the lives of three stars not only from the families, the communities, and the cricket world but also the whole world of sports whose only goal was to play the game they loved.
ICC stands with the Afghanistan Cricket Board in this unfortunate situation and sharing their sorrow.
