NEW DELHI: Ravindra Jadeja has added another major achievement to his already remarkable Test career. The India all-rounder has become only the fourth cricketer in history to complete the rare double of 4000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket.
Jadeja reached the milestone by completing 4000 Test runs on the second day of the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens on Saturday.

This elite list features some of the greatest all-rounders the game has ever seen. England's Ian Botham leads the group with 5200 runs and 383 wickets, showcasing his match-winning impact across formats.
India's Kapil Dev, one of the finest all-rounders in cricket history, amassed 5248 runs and claimed 434 wickets, playing a crucial role in shaping Indian cricket. New Zealand's Daniel Vettori also finds a place on this prestigious list with 4531 runs and 362 wickets.

Jadeja reached this milestone in just 87 Tests, making him the second-fastest to get there. Only Botham achieved it quicker, reaching the mark in 72 Tests.
