NEW DELHI: Indian actress and model Khushi Mukherjee has triggered widespread discussion on social media after making remarks about Indian T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav.
Her comments, which referenced past interactions with cricketers, have led to mixed reactions and plenty of speculation online.

“I don’t want to date any cricketer. There are so many cricketers after me. Suryakumar Yadav used to message me a lot,” Khushi said at a recent event.
She further added that the two no longer speak and that she does not wish to be associated with any link-ups involving her name.
“Now we don’t talk much, and I don’t even want to be associated. I don’t like any link-ups involving me,” she stated.
The comments have once again highlighted how public figures, especially cricketers, often find themselves drawn into rumours and talks linked to off-field narratives.
On the cricketing front, Suryakumar Yadav is set to be in action against New Zealand in a five-match T20I series starting next month. The series will serve as an important phase in India’s preparations for the T20 World Cup 2026.
While Suryakumar has enjoyed a scintillating run as India’s T20I captain and is yet to lose a series, his recent batting form remains a concern.
