With the approaching India vs Australia ODI series, former Indian captain Rohit Sharma is gearing up at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, under the watch of his longtime friend and former assistant coach, Abhishek Nayar. A lot of people gathered around Shivaji Park to watch the public session.
The 38-year-old looked all in form to play the series. He recently achieved the Champions Trophy with the team. He practised some sweep and slog sweep strokes. Rohit faced a delivery in nets, drawing a pull shot. One of the fans shouted, “2027 ka World Cup jeetna hai Rohit bhai, tumhare bina possible nahi hai! Australia mein bhi aise maarna hai…dekho dekho, Starc saamne kahda hai (We have to win the 2027 World Cup, Rohit Bhai. It won’t be possible without you. You have to hit like this in Australia too..look (Mitchell) Starc is standing in front of you”)
